ABOUT

The idea for 5th Avenue Community Garden was planted years ago by attendees of Shoreline Free Methodist Church. In the summer of 2021 we decided it was time to go for it.

A garden team from Shoreline Free Methodist formed, with people passionate about organic gardening and their community. We were so thankful for guidance from people and groups who have done this before.

We started to break ground in late January 2022, and the result is a modest organic garden in a full-sun spot on the property.

There are twenty plots available for our neighbors to reserve and garden. Adjacent are a collection of pollinator friendly plants. Something is almost always in bloom through the spring, summer, and fall.

We have been thrilled to see beautiful and good things grow on the grounds these past few years, and we are excited to see all that will grow this season.
